Aparthotel Playa Dorada - Sa Coma (Mallorca)

Our grandson felt anxious due to intimidating guests.

I had a modern single room with a delightful view of garden. Location: the hotel was not far from the restaurant, a nice coffee shop or a bar with a decent coffee on the premises and Mallorca.

brilliant venue, with clean pool and amazing location on the sea front. location near to restaurants in both sa coma, the main promenade, and the seafront. nearby talaiot bar & pub - great place to chill out.

What shines and what doesn't

A fine view from the balcony is amazing! The beach is just a short stroll away!

Food options lacked variety, becoming repetitive over time. Noise from nearby hotels made relaxation difficult at times.

The dining areas feel cramped, particularly with a stroller in tow. Evening entertainment often competed with loud music from nearby hotels, which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere. The sun loungers around the pool don't recline, leading to discomfort during long hours in the sun. The lack of cleaning on certain days meant we had to ask for fresh towels a bit too often. Finally, while the food was adequate, the offerings became repetitive and could use more variety not just in main dishes but also in desserts.

We stayed in a studio that was big and super clean. Loved the fresh air from the balcony with a fine sea view! The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather. The housekeeping was on point, and the beds were comfy for a good night's sleep. Just a heads up-the bathroom felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the room. Pretty cozy and inviting space!

The location was sweet as, so close to the beach. But the food got a bit repetitive and the evening entertainment was a letdown.

But the food was kinda repetitive, not much variety which was a let down. The evening entertainment was pretty lame and didn't keep us entertained at all.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, and the staff were superb. We enjoyed lots of activities like volleyball and gymnastics. The all-inclusive option was great. We could eat outdoors, and the bar had drinks available around the clock. Don't miss the nearby archaeological sites or the enchanting caves!

One disappointing aspect was the food selection. It could be better as some meals lacked flavor. We found the animation team a bit underwhelming at times, which affected the overall vibe.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely bar that stayed open all night and made for some great fun with the barman! The beach was just a short walk away, and I loved lounging by the pool to soak up the sun. A minor downside was that the fridge in the room was empty, but it didn't stop us from having a fantastic time. 🏖️

The hotel is beautifully located with a fine pool area, fantastic outdoor dining options, and caring staff who remember your names. Great atmosphere for families looking to relax!

It was just a perfect match for a city holiday in Sa Coma with real value for money. The staff were pleasant and helpful . Be sure to take advantage of the public bus for cheap transport around the area.

As longer term business travelers, we enjoyed the amazing sea view from our clean room and the refreshing pool. the staff was excellent, always with a smile, ready to please any request. the nearby beaches were a short walk away, offering both free sand and rental options with included drinks. the hotel provided entertaining activities and facilities like pool and ping-pong tables. Affordable supermarkets were conveniently located around the area, offering a good variety of products. a great experience for a 3-star hotel.

Felt very well, no reason to complain.

The whole team at Playa Dorada is dedicated to ensuring that guests have a fantastic and unforgettable family holiday. The extensive sport and leisure programme, including volleyball, golf, and archery, kept our family entertained throughout our stay. We loved the activities like table tennis, darts, and gymnastics - they were so much fun for both the kids and the adults!

My wife says that the only thing she would suggest for families with children is to have a larger children's play area.
